We are working on finalizing some of our speakers but here are some of the topics that will be covered:
Non-violent communication skills;
Psychosocial needs of student with diabetes, hemophilia, LGBQT, and eating disorders;
How to identify students with violent or suicidal tendencies early;
YogaCalm for us and our students;
Immunization Medical Exempt update – what it
means for us and parents;
The goal of this conference is to provide the school nurse with the tools they will need to help meet the psychosocial needs of students with various medical conditions and to learn ways to improve communication and relaxation skills. The conference planning committee chose this location because of its beauty and our recognized need to reconnect with nature and each other.
You will have the opportunity to share some of your knowledge and skills with the group. We hope you will take this opportunity to recharge with us!
You will register via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Provide the following information: Name / email address / any diet restrictions including vegetarian option / T shirt size.
OSNA will be assigning all rooms in the lodge – please indicate if you would like a room in the lodge and who your roommate will be. If you are staying “off campus” please indicate which hotel or campsite you will be in.
We encourage you to register early – we only have 30 rooms in the lodge.
We must have your registration by March 21, 2014 (Friday before Spring Break).
Due to the type of venue and reservation costs to OSNA, a $50.00 cancellation fee will be
charged if you cancel your registration after March 21, 2014.
